Legal advice provided by Kacprzak Legal in the field of transport law is based on Polish and international regulations in the transport industry (in particular the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road – CMR). We represent the interests of carriers, forwarders, insurers, customs agencies and their contractors in matters related to the national and international transport of goods by road, sea, river, air, rail and multimodal transport. 

Handling disputes related to transport. Kacprzak Legal also assists in disputes regarding defective transport, damage to the substance of the cargo and personal injury as well as in disputes related to the theft or misappropriation of cargo and of the means of transport. We handle disputes related to transport activities and financing. We secure customer claims arising from domestic and international freight transport. We bring an action at law for claims related to international and domestic transport, including recourse claims.

Specialisation in providing services to foreign entities. We specialise in providing services to foreign insurers insuring goods in transit, claiming recourse claims from Polish carriers in the event of damage to or loss of goods. We assist in disputes with insurers if they refuse to pay compensation. We conduct proceedings before Polish courts and implement the provisions of foreign judgments and settlements, and we also conduct security and enforcement proceedings.
