Maritime and shipbuilding

Shipbuilding industry. We provide legal services in the maritime industry in the broad sense. Our clients include shipyards, shipowners, financing banks, insurers and ports. We provide legal services at every stage of the project, from financing of ship construction, negotiating and implementing shipbuilding contracts, to the operation of vessels. We help shipyards to secure their claims during the construction or repair process. We support our clients during the acceptance procedures which end the ship construction or repair process.

Acquisition processes. We conduct due diligence in the processes of acquiring shipbuilding companies (share deal) and shipyard assets (asset deal).

Maritime law disputes. We represent clients in cases before maritime administration bodies and in disputes before common and arbitration courts in Poland and abroad. Acting against Polish and foreign maritime administration bodies, we secure clients' claims by arresting ships and establishing maritime mortgages. We conduct proceedings related to crashes, collisions, accidents, breakdowns, and the pollution of the marine environment. We provide opinions on contracts related to the transport of persons and cargo.

Maritime labor law. We provide legal assistance regarding employment at sea.

Inland navigation. We provide legal assistance with regard to shipbuilding and transport contracts, breakdowns, accidents and collisions, and take the specific features of inland navigation into account.
