IX National Conference on Maritime Law
We are pleased to announce that Kacprzak Legal has once again become a Partner of the National Conference on Maritime Law entitled "Maritime Law for Sustainable Shipping", which took place on April 22, 2021. The event was organized by the Department of Maritime Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk and the European Association of Law Students ELSA Gdańsk.
This year's Conference focused on issues relevant to the development of maritime law aimed at sustainable shipping. Sustainable shipping is a concept of holistic governance for sustainable development, which is primarily about social and environmental responsibility, based on obligations of international origin. This concept is well established on three pillars of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental, and the practice of sustainable shipping aims to strengthen them.
