Collision of Ships on the Motława River – Favorable decision by the Maritime Chamber of Appeals at the District Court in Gdańsk

We are pleased to announce that in the second instance the Maritime Chamber of Appeals at the District Court in Gdańsk has issued a favorable decision for our client, the owner of the yacht Anna, in the case concerning its collision with the ship Lew. The Appeals Chamber fully agreed with the position and arguments presented by Kacprzak Legal.

To recap: last year, a collision between the two vessels occurred in the Port of Gdańsk, resulting in the destruction of the yacht Anna. Fortunately, its crew managed to evacuate just before the impact with the ship Lew. Thanks to the meticulous analysis and dedicated efforts of Kacprzak Legal, including the collection of key evidence, the court determined the fault of the ship Lew for the incydent.
